Favorite Part of Bedtime: Bath!

Avery is into everything right now. She wants to do what we do, eat what we eat, and see what we see. She is a little copy cat and does everything from trying to wash Asher’s hair during bath time to throwing toilet paper in the potty and flushing. It’s pretty entertaining to follow her around for the day. Whenever she is hungry or thirsty she pulls on the fridge door until someone opens it for her. If we turn on water to wash our hands, take a shower, or brush our teeth, Avery has to play in the water too. She loves to play outside and can climb up the slide as well as up the ladder to the fort, so I have to watch her very closely. She even likes to help me push the cart at the store and pay with our bank card. What an adorable, crazy, fun, hand full of a baby. We love her!

So our dishwasher is leaking and I’ve been trying to find the source of the leak for the past few days. I’ve spent hours sitting in front of the thing waiting for it to start dripping…. And it never does. UNTIL I leave the kitchen, then it’s like Niagra Falls. What can I say, our dishwasher is possessed.

This morning, Asher and I finally started taking it apart to try to figure it out. I made an off-hand comment about it never leaking while I’m watching it and Asher says in a serious voice “Dad, let’s just look the other way!” I laughed and we did. Leak City!!

Now that we know where it’s leaking from, it’s time to MacGruber it up!

This weekend our friend Kenny was showing Asher how to make an origami crane and a paper football. Asher looked across the table and told Kenny ”Thank you for preparing activities for me”.
