It’s all we talked about for the last two weeks, since JR’s 30th birthday celebration. Every morning Asher would wake up asking “Is it birthday time?” Finally, it was birthday time! On his actual birthday we took him to a Rough Riders game with Mema and Papa. Mema hooked us up with Founders Club tickets, a tour, and free food and drinks. Asher had a blast! On Saturday we had a “small” get together and Asher could hardly contain his excitement. The highlight of the evening, for me, was watching Asher sing along as everyone wished him a happy birthday. When we started the last verse of the song he had waited long enough, blew out the candle early, grabbed a cupcake and bit into it. That’s my boy!
